First Photo of Olive

Olive Marie, our rescue tuxedo cat
Olive Playing With Mom

My husband snapped a few photos of Olive while she was playing last night.  Her eyes may appear golden in this photo but are actually more of a chartreuse green.  Note how her toy is already looking rather "loved"!

Happy New Year from Olive =^..^=

    1. She's coming along great but still not quite ready to be petted. We'll continue to let it all happen on her time schedule.

    1. That's too bad about your husband's allergy. A lot of people in my husband's family are allergic, too. I'm usually fine with cats but I have sneezed around a few.

thank you so much Susan, you are so kind, thank you for Christmas card too, I hope to you all best!
I'd love to learn the technique you used, I will try this year, I'm sure :)
unfortunately in Italy is very difficult to find products, shipping costs from US are expensive... I see many products on Etsy but I can't buy them and I don't find them here... too bad :( so I'm a beginner, and I will stay beginner for long time :(
for Christmas I received wood dapping block and disc cutter, finally! I practice cutting discs :)
    thank you again

    1. I'm so glad that you like them! I'll email you some info about etching because you can definitely find all the things that you need in Italy (I'm certain) because I don't use any chemicals. I'll email you later today. :)

You're going to have so much fun with your disc cutter and dapping set.

  5. Bless you for taking care of such a sweet little thing. Olive could be Nosey's sister....she lives in NY and is fat and sassy! I did see too that you love the dragonfly. For the past 2 years we have been lucky to have swarms of them pass our way.....the air was just full! I am going to have fun looking at your lovely creations!

    1. Thank you, Kim. I definitely have soft spots for kitties and dragonflies. We get amazing swarms of migrating dragonflies here along the coast--probably like the swarms that you experience. They really are amazing.
Thanks for reading my blog :)

    1. Thank you! She's settling in more each day and definitely becoming an indoor house cat. Her semi-feral days are behind her. =^..^=
